Poetry ~ has been the quicksilver that has swarmed my veins since I learned how to read { when that was, I don’t remember, but I do remember it was Anne Sexton’s poetry that was the first lure buried in my lungs, heart and writing wrist ,,, } ~ its the bright fire that keeps me alive, it exists in every piece of jewelry we make ~ its the kind of thing you see and hear & feel everyday without realizing it; you think its not for you, but it is, it always is. You think it may be beyond your understanding or pretentious but its the world of words that hums right alongside you unseen~ its in your lovers smile or their bad mood, the movie you saw and can’t stop thinking of, the way a rainstorm just makes you feel cozy af, its also in the way you feel imbedded in the tar pits with no line thrown to you ….its a lightning bolt of hot electricity down your throat ~ it’s a dance with a language all your own that never ends…..this one is for the sensualists, for the writers, for those who feel too much & for those who can’t find their way out of language or books ……for my kindred…..who’ve made a cult of wonder, of melancholy…
Both pendant and bar link chain are sterling silver, hand oxidized to achieve our shade of stormy gray and then highlighted to reveal the bright luminous silver beneath.
