Here, the Alder Branch has been manipulated into small segments, and reconnected with jump rings in between each section, allowing movement when worn. Each Branch Earring is set with Gray Moonstone "tear" held in a pronged sterling silver setting. 

*Details* :

- Each earring has two small Alder Branch piece

- 2 3/4 inches from top of hook to bottom of tear

- Each earring is set with one 6 x 8 mm gray moonstone pear shaped cabochon

- Branches, earring hooks, and prong settings are all solid Sterling Silver  

-  Hand oxidized to achieve our favorite shade of stormy gray and then highlighted to reveal the bright luminous silver beneath

Gray Moonstone:

Gray moonstone shares many of the same metaphysical properties as the rest of the moonstone family. This jewel is hand cut and therefore may have small signs of the carver's hands along the edges. It has not been fabricated by a machine rather it hand cut and therefore might not be uniformly perfect. The photographs accurately portray the quality of the stone and the cut.
