These ritual beads are an homage to the Goddess Hecate: Considered one of the ancient goddesses, (and in some tales), the only Titan allowed to retain her authority after the Olympians seized control, Hecate is a triple faced goddess associated with witchcraft, the Underworld, specters and the dead. She is also well known as the Goddess of crossroads, symbolically viewed as the liminal space between worlds. Because of these attributes, she has an ability to accept the strange and shadowy nature of people, making her a personal favorite of mine.  

*Details* :

- This strand is comprised of large Labradorite 'moons', separated by sterling silver beads. This large and stunningly flashy beads overall present as teal but green, blue and a shade of pink/orange are also exist within this unique hand selected color palette. These beads also have interesting inclusions of gray striations within many of the beads. Note that this strand is composed of a multitude of colors rather than matching shades of beads.

- At this strands closure is our largest, double sided, sterling silver Eye of Protection clasp, meant to be a talisman of comfort and protection. 

- Approximately 39 inches in length including clasp

-  Large Eye Clasp, silver beads, and jump rings are all Solid Sterling Silver, hand oxidized to achieve our favorite gloomy grey and finished to highlight the shining silver beneath.

- The clasp is tactile in nature making it easily held between the tips of your fingers and rubbed for comfort in times of grief, anxiety, dissociation, as well as during moments of joy and wonder.  

Labradorite:

Labradorite is known for its healing properties, in particular for its ability to relieve anxiety & melancholy. It is also said to be used to dispel negativity & fear, acting as a kind of psychic armor to protect against more troubling & turbulent emotions. As a 'sister' to moonstone, Labradorite is often associated with the more "darker" aspects of the Goddess, in her Crone form, full of the experience & wisdom of life and death, associated with the darker moon: waning through new moon phases.

It is also a stone of transformation, and is said to help those with intuitive gifts to awaken and realize their full potential as well as helping enhance creative talents. It also ranks as one of the most protective stones, shielding its wearer from negativity. Much like its 'sister' Moonstone, Labradorite has been used and worn in many cultures and tribes for both its incredible natural beauty, and for its potent magical properties.
