Forget-Me-Not love tokens depicting the flowers of the same name, were given during Victorian era between friends and loved ones during times of parting. This contrasted the darker themes of mourning jewelry signifying more permanent parting between loved ones. Here, I was thinking of both kinds of distance & a touchstone for all kinds of remembrance: what or who you would like to keep present in your heart or mind. What or who you need to keep alive and with you, always. This jewel can act as a bookmark of memory, a memorial, a reminder.

Both pendant and bar link chain are sterling silver, hand oxidized to achieve our shade of stormy gray and then highlighted to reveal the bright luminous silver beneath.
