Persephone:

The Underworld, specifically its Queen, Persephone, has been a touchstone for nearly all of my work across genres. She is rooted in death; connected to the cycles of life and nature, she moves between realms - she ascends and descends. She has always felt like the 8 of swords to me, a card I have connected with since I was given my first deck as kid. This feels like the natural flow of things, or perhaps to me, as a strange, awkward, over thinking, over feeling kind of girl who oscillates between wanting to blot myself out, to move into a cave with my library, and the need to be and feel connected to others and the world around me. Like Persephone, I move between realms, I withdraw, I emerge.

Here, bat bones have been molded from real life, carefully manipulated in wax, and cast in silver to create this unique ring.

The Persephone Diadem Ring is oxidized to achieve our favorite shade of stormy gray and then hand finished to reveal the bright luminous silver highlights.

Clear Quartz: 

Despite its ubiquitous accessibility within the crystal kingdom, clear quartz remains one of the most potent crystals one can own, considered to be the 'Master Healer' as it can be used to assist you with any issue. Thought to be a 'memory/record keeper' that enables recall of lost memories, it also helps amplifies spiritual pursuits and increases psychic awareness. The spherical shape, akin to the traditional 'crystal ball,'  has long been a symbol of divination and magic.

These stones are hand cut and therefore may have very slight differences in size and may have small signs of the carver's hands along the edges. These are not fabricated by a machine, they are made by hand and therefore aren't uniformly perfect. The photographs accurately portray the quality of the stones and the cuts.
